ORDER TIMING

The normal timing of translation is 5-8 pages a day which, one should agree, is a normal speed for translation.

However, the timing can be both decreased or increased depending on the circumstances hereinbelow.

So, what can be done to decrease translation timing?

  • translation of typical documents, such as certificates of various kinds, diplomas into English, German, French, Spanish, Italian is made at the office, i.e. by staff translators, therefore such documents are translated within 1-2 work days at most (depending on the general workload);
  • we can make translation in certain fields into widely used European languages as well as some rare languages quite promptly depending on the workload of translators who are able to translate text in a certain field;
  • translation from Russian into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into Russian since we have a sufficient number of staff translators working in this language pair. Besides, merely any competent philologist in Ukraine has an equally good command of both Ukrainian and Russian.

So, what are the factors that can increase translation timing of your text?

  • you prefer that your texts should be translated by a certain translator who is appointed to work with you while he is busy with another project (on vacation, out of office);
  • a text to be translated has to do with a very particular field, the translation requires special knowledge, professional advice;
  • translation requires proofreading by a native speaker;
  • translation requires additional work to be done in desktop publishing services; translation has to be made using an «unconventional software», e.g. AutoCAD;
  • you have ordered a translation from/into a rare language, e.g.: Vietnamese, Thai, Nepalese, in which case we cannot always guarantee that a translator from such a language will be able to start the work immediately.

In one way or another a manager will inform you on the completion deadline of your order. We always do all possible (sometimes the impossible) not just to meet the required deadline but to do the job as soon as possible with the highest quality.
