NEWS09.07.2010 June summary June became a very successful month for TraDos Translation Agency. Among the interesting projects one can indicate the interpreting services on the course of Cognac À.E. Dor presentation in Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk. Another serious challenge for our agency was the translation into English of 300 pages of Draft Project Documents on oil extraction plant construction for Oil Technologies LLC. 15.06.2010 Hot June for simultaneous interpreters June has become a hot month for simultaneous interpreters of TraDos Translation Agency. This month we have provided simultaneous interpreting services during a two-day seminar for Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine Ltd. Moreover, TraDos Translation Agency has received two orders for simultaneous interpretation from Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property. 02.06.2010 Interpreting at SIA'2010 On May 27-30 the 18th Kyiv International Motor Show SIA'2010 took place. This year more than 400 companies from Europe, Asia and CIS presented their new products at the biggest Ukrainian automobile exhibition. Between them there were leading automobile manufacturers, tuning companies and manufacturers of auto accessories, autochemicals and auto parts. This event did not pass by our translation agency: one of our employers was engaged in interpreting services from German language.
13.05.2010 Aqua-Therm Kiev 2010 On May 12 the 12th International Exhibition Aqua-Therm Kiev 2010 started its work. Traditionally this exhibition gathered the leading manufacturers, dealers and customers of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, water supply, sanitary and environmental technology. The exhibition will be open till May 15. We are glad to inform that for two years on end the exhibition participant, AGRORESURS LLC addressed to TraDos Translation Agency with a request for interpreting services into English. 29.04.2010 TraDos Translation Agency made a translation of technical documents and AutoCAD drawings into English regarding reconstruction of Sumy Sanitary epidemiological Station and zonal diagnostic laboratories of Lviv Research Institute of Epidemiology and Hygiene for Biolabtech Ltd. and SE Central Design Institute of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Project volume was more than 250 pages. 08.04.2010 Interpreting - new achievements In March TraDos Translation Agency won the tender for rendering the simultaneous interpreting services from English into Russian languages to the Coca-Cola Company, the world's leading manufacturer of soft drinks. The leading simultaneous interpreters of our agency participated in the marketing seminar. It is pleasing to note that our company was selected as provider of translation services for Kyivstar JSM CJSC during a press-tour "Quality of Kyivstar 2010"organized for leading journalists of mass media from the Central Region, which took place on March 31 with participation of Chief Technology Officer, Ms. Kjersti Wiklund, and her deputies, Mr. Alexander Dorofiy and Mr. Sergiy Klimov.
29.03.2010 Euroleague Basketball CEO visits Ukraine At the end of last week (March 19-20) Euroleague CEO Jorgi Bartomeu visited Kiev. The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the prospects of basketball clubs in Ukraine, including BC Budivelnik, to participate in the most prestigious European basketball tournament. On Friday, March 19, the entertainment complex "Arena" held a press conference with Euroleague CEO Jordi Bartomeu, president of BC Budivelnik Bogdan Gulyamov, UBF President Alexander Volkov and the director of Kiev's Sports Palace Victor Tkachenko. Initially, journalists were shown a promotion film "65", describing the 65-year history of Budivelnik, then the guests told how they saw the participation of Ukrainian clubs in the Euroleague and what should be done to meet all demands. More details are on the website. We are very pleased that BC Budivelnik stopped their choice at our translation agency when searching a Spanish interpreting provider. Our interpreter not only provided translation at the conference, but also accompanied the delegation during 2-day visit.

Holiday work schedule March 5 – the office of Trados Translation Agency will be open till 05.00 p.m. Have a nice holiday! 01.03.2010 Simultaneous translation at the conference in Svalyava TraDos Translation Agency continues to develop simultaneous interpreting sector. This time four interpreters from our agency were providing simultaneous interpreting services from English into Russian/Ukrainian and vice versa during the 15th International Scientific and conference "Actual Problematic Issues of Intellectual Property" which took place in Svalyava on February 22-26. The conference was organized by the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property" joint with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Patent Organization.
17.02.2010 Simultaneous translation at the UNODC/GUAM Sub-Regional Workshop On February 15-16, 2010, the UNODC/GUAM Sub-Regional Workshop for GUAM Member States on Enhancing International Legal Co-operation Related to Terrorism (Extradition and Mutual Legal Assistance) took place in Kyiv. "TraDos" Translation Agency was chosen as the supplier of interpreting services and had the honor to providesimultaneous interpreting from English and Bosnian into Russian.
02.02.2010 New transliteration rules On the 1st of February the new transliteration rules for proper names were adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. We want to draw the customers’ attention that translators of Translation Agency "TraDos" will follow these rules only if a customer does not provide us with any recommendations concerning proper names spelling. 18.01.2010 Good news from the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine! Since January 2010 the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reduced the time for legalization of certain documents. From now the Apostille shall be put on the new documents issued by the Civilian Registry Offices (ZAGS) within 2 days. Time for legalization of other documents with the Ministry of Justice remains the same and consists of 5 working days. 11.01.2010 Yesterday, on the 10th of January, Trados Translation Agency website was awarded with the title "Websites of a Day" in the Ukrainian catalogue .
