Legalization time period for Italy was extended

Due to the large document flow in the summer the Italian Consulate has increased the minimum period for legalization of documents – up to 30 days. Please consider this aspect when planning legalization.

We remind you that the legalization procedure for Italy consists of the following stages:

• apostillization of documents;
• document translation by a translator authorized by the embassy;
• consular legalization.
