FREE TEST TRANSLATION

Translation Agency «Trados» performs free test translation of text of not more than one page provided that the text to be translated accounts for over 80 pages. In this case the Customer should submit the entire text of the order planned from which we may choose any page for translation.

Sometimes test translation is made by several specialists for the client to be able to choose the translation and translator he liked best. The idea of “good translation of text” is often a matter of taste and habit while every translator has his/her own style that can be perceived differently by each individual.

In this case we will ask the Customer to provide oral assurance of criticality of intentions in terms of a text translation. We trust our clients and therefore we have the right to count for their decency. One should hope that by submitting a text for a test translation you, our respectful clients, are sure that the text to be translated is a potential project and, in any case, you will need this translation even though you will eventually decide to place an order in another translation agency.

Unfortunately, we have had cases where we being conscious of a Customer’s desire to get the highest quality translation translated for free one or even more pages of text, however, eventually, it turned out to be just a potential project and the management would make a decision not to translate this text at all.
